Our Story

Noir Crowfeathers is no ordinary crow. With his distinctive burgundy vest and cream-colored scarf, he's become a beloved figure in St. Michael's Crossing and beyond.

Noir loves collecting treasures--not just sparkly things, but the small, meaningful things that tell stories. Ribbons and pressed flowers, curling postage stamps, handwritten notes, and bits and bobs and buttons fill his cozy nest in the old oak on Maple Street.

But Noir's greatest passion is writing letters. He believes that in our fast-paced digital world, there's something magical about receiving a handwritten note in the mail. That's why he founded the Ravenhill Letter Writing Society—to share the joy of correspondence and the treasures he discovers with friends near and far.

The Society began one twilight evening when Noir discovered something remarkable—his letters had a way of finding exactly the right person at exactly the right time. "Perhaps," he mused, "this is what I was meant to do."

Each month, by candlelight, Noir writes a letter filled with his latest discoveries, village mysteries, and curious observations (crows notice things most overlook). He then selects treasures from his collection—enchanted stickers, moonlit prints, and wondrous ephemera.

The Society is more than a subscription—it's an invitation into a secret world, where wonder hides in every envelope and every letter holds a new mystery. As Noir often says, "The best secrets are the ones you share with friends."
